Transportation
SKEANS offers many Solutions for the transportation industry, which meet both regulatory requirements and user expectations.
Those regulatory requirements include legislation on CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions, environmental zones, EU emissions regulations for small engines and enclosed workspaces, work environment regulations and urban noise limits are among the most important aspects that all manufacturers need to observe. As a distributor All our solutions come with wash down and cold temperature protection such as gate and dump control, a simple Legris fitting, a recoil tube with quick connect / disconnect couplers, electrical actuators, and more for your convenience.
Additionally, we know companies are increasingly turning towards electrical solutions for hybrid or all-electric systems, where we can provide solutions for almost any application.
Past Projects Coming Soon. . .
Compressed Air Applications
Air compressors are used in a whole variety of transit applications that include main line trains, light rail trains, underground trains, trams, metros, hybrid buses, electric buses, etc. With the focus on reducing energy consumption and the move towards more sustainable energy forms, the use of electrically driven compressors with an on-demand control system is increasing. The vane compressor is ideal for both new build and retrofit transit applications as it is an integrated unit offering ‘plug and play’ capability.
Compressed air is used for braking systems, suspension systems, door operation, floor leveling systems, pantographs, wipers and claxons. Following the example of transit applications, transport is also moving towards electrically powered vans and trucks which require electric compressors supplying air for the braking and suspension systems.
Dry bulk
Gardner Denver Transport Solutions offer you an extensive range of compressors and blowers designed to discharge your materials at optimum rates in the safest way possible. Using air to discharge dry particles from your tank-trucks is the most efficient and economic method of transporting materials. Particles sizes and other discharge circumstances can vary considerably.
Also, other circumstances have an influence on the correct choice including truck layout, fuel costs and discharge site characteristics. An extensive range of machines is available to discharge all your materials at optimum rates at low or high pressure from powders (cement, flour, lime) to granules (sugar, sand, salt), pebbles (plastic pellets, grit) and irregular shapes (animal feeds, quarried materials).
Liquid transfer
Liquids are transported all over the world as fuel, food, waste, chemicals or for use in other processes. Years of experience working with you in this market means that we closely understand your requirements and developed our products to give you the greatest benefits. Utilising a broad range of technologies, we manufacture blowers, compressors, vacuum pumps and cargo pumps to complete all your tasks in the shortest time, consuming the least amount of fuel.
Liquified gas transfer
For the unloading of liquified gases, Gardner Denver developed two systems to drive the cryogenic pump on the tanktrailer. Hydraulic version : this is a high pressure, high flow, hydraulic system, providing drive to a hydraulic motor, which is attached to the cryogenic pump.
Electric drive version : this system uses an alternator mounted on the tractor unit. Hydraulics are used to turn the alternator via a close coupled hydraulic motor. The resulting electrical power, is transferred onto the trailer and drives an electric motor which is close coupled to the cryogenic pump.
Power transmission
From special applications on everyday trucks, to niche utility, construction and defense vehicles, the need for innovative geared drives is strong. Webster Drives has a proven range of products, but also works in partnership to develop new designs tailored to specific requirements.
The extensive range of drivelines, gearboxes, PTO’s and transfer cases are used by a broad section of clients around the world including: automotive, marine, oil & gas, energy, construction, defense and military. The in-house design and engineering facility brings a wealth of expertise and experience in gear and chain driven developments adapted to suit varied applications.

Door openings
Road and rail vehicles must meet both regulatory requirements and user expectations. Legislation on CO2 and greenhouse emissions, environmental zones, EU emission regulations for small vehicles working in enclosed spaces, regulations on working environments and urban noise levels are some of the most important aspects that manufacturers have to comply with. They are increasingly using electrical solutions for hybrid or all-electric systems. Ewellix supports manufacturers with a wide range of electromechanical actuators for demanding environments in their search for the right solution.
