We will have some learning curves and some growing
pains as we make some changes to our day to day; but as a team we will ensure
ALL our staff, both old and new, receive the support they will need to ensure

September is ARTHRITIS AWARENESS
month
The theme of Arthritis Awareness Month this year is “the many ages of
arthritis.”
Arthritis is not just about getting old. In fact, arthritis is a
debilitating disease that affects more than four million Canadians,
including baby-boomers and children. It can strike anyone, anytime,
anywhere. We are all at risk.
Arthritis is a serious health issue, and for many Canadians, it means
pain and disability. September is a great time to cover arthritis issues
and help raise awareness about this all too common chronic disease.

September is also "WALK and RUN Month" in
Vancouver with the following events all taking place: Superwalk for
Parkinsons @ Stanley Park Sunday September 9th Terry Fox Run
for a Cure @ Stanley Park

Life @ Stanley Park
Sunday September 23rd CIBC Run for a
Cure @ BC Place Stadium
Sunday September 30th
Employee Achievements: The annual Mac Meeting is the 2nd
week of September; Tim, Tony, Paulo, John, Jon, Graeme, Kit, Michael and Keith
will be attending
Current Events:
Skeans BC Annual Golf Tournament was
Saturday September 8th in Richmond for employees, families and
friends. We thank all those supply partners that were
generous with their prize donations. The weather was fantastic and
a great time was had by all who came out!

continued support of this annual event!
