JANUARY PRODUCT OF THE MONTH
|
 The
Skeans SG Series Cylinder was conceived in the 1970's.
It is designed for use in the rugged resource industries of Western Canada to supplement the
NOPAK CL1 design. It incorporates double rod bearings, bolt on gland rings and a
clevis jam nut. Optional piston rod diameters, larger clevis pin sizes, larger
trunnion horn diameters are standard catalogue items. To satisfy the need for higher
speeds and constant operation, you may also choose to utilize a wear ring and low-friction
seals. Air pressure ratings range from 150 PSI - 450 PSI.
|
The CL6 is the heavy duty version of the NOPAK NFPA design cylinder. The
construction is very similar to the SG Series, but this cylinder uses a bolt
on gland ring or a screw on gland when using a head plate for extra
strength. All parts of this cylinder are steel, using a hard anodized
aluminum barrel. Being NFPA, this cylinder is also available in all
standard configurations. The pressure rating for these cylinders
is 250 PSI - 450 PSI. |
