| Air Knives |
Air knife systems utilize compressed air for industrial applications that include drying, removing excess oils and liquids, dust blow off, and cooling. An air knife is effective and efficient. A uniform "sheet" of air is projected along the entire length of an air knife to provide air flow that covers the entire surface of the product. Air Knife systems from EXAIR have small profiles and are manufactured in various lengths and can be mounted to accommodate many industrial applications involving conveyors and webs, even in tight spaces. Whether you need to remove dust and contaminates, cool hot parts or blow off excess oil, water or other liquids, the air knife is effective and energy efficient. Standard Exair air knives are available in aluminum and stainless steel and range in size from 6" to 54".

The Long Super air knives produce a laminar sheet of airflow to blow off, dry, or cool wide surfaces 60, 72, 84, and 96 in. long. The design minimizes compressed air use by entraining 40 parts room air to one part compressed air. It is suitable for wide parts, webs and conveyors.

The air knives provide a uniform volume and velocity of air that is adjustable from a gentle blowing to a hard-hitting blast of air. It has no moving parts and measures 1.75 x 1.44 in. with compressed air inlets located on each end and the bottom. The air knife is available in Type 303 or Type 316 stainless steel.
